Important question!

Our morning question was for Make a Choice Monday...burgers or fries?! :)

We began our day by finishing up our M4T from last week and our Ohio Dailies. In our morning meeting, we discussed all of the out-of-the-ordinaries this week and what we need to do to be successful this week-one thing we talked about was with trying to find a prescription for the deltas that made last week unsuccessful at times. Then, we shared about our weekends. We also played a new(ish) game, "What are you doing?" After writing our SMART goals, we practiced conversions, especially within the metric system. We ended with a conversion relay race but ran out of time so we'll finish that up tomorrow. Today was Art and then lunch and recess and we began a new read aloud, The City of Ember. They are very intrigued from just the first chapter! Once we finish the book, we will be completing our very own City of Ember! We read independently and in Reader's Workshop, used QR codes to research Ohio Inventors. We came back to the Ohio Energy Project for Science and began investigating lighting by comparing incandescent light bulbs, CFL bulbs and LED bulbs.
