TGIF (written on Sunday-oops!)

Well, we had another A-mazing day! We spent the first part of the morning cleaning and organizing... after completing our M4T test (with very few 10/10's I must say), we organized our table tubs of supplies, book boxes, common spaces, etc. around the room. I spend too much time at the end of the day doing this so we all worked together to get it done today. In Math Workshop, we all worked on what we needed. Some kept practicing subtraction using regrouping, (we've got addition), while others worked on factors and prime/composite numbers and some took their 1.2 Addition/Subtraction test. After music, lunch and indoor recess, we read the intermission in Nightmare at the Book Fair which was a look at a reference material. Then, we finished up some things for Literacy Workshop by completing our close-reading questions about the non-fiction text in StoryWorks, completing our Sandwich Book Reviews and publishing our small moment stories. Our day ended with creating a Mouse House for our first ever MakerSpace challenge!! So much fun and creativity! I wish we could do this for every subject and in all areas of our learning! (I'm working on seeing how I can make this happen...)
